Donald Trump was asked if he had ever asked God for forgiveness.  His answer doesn't leave much room for hope.  He was also asked about his relationship with God but couldn't say it went much further than "praying" or attending church.  So let me ask you the question... Have you asked God for forgiveness?  We all need forgiveness.  Romans 3:23 tells us that we have all broken God's laws and Romans 6:23 says that we deserve to die because of it.  We need forgiveness.  My prayer is that you will receive God's forgiveness, through Jesus Christ, and that Mr. Trump will experience it too.  Here are few verses that show us how to have forgiveness...

John 3:16 (NASB)
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Romans 10:9-10 (NASB)
"...if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

1 John 1:9 (NASB)
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Psalm 86:5 (NASB)
"For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You."
